On August 6, 2017 NACEA held it joint annual BBQ & Outdoor picnic at Roosevelt Park, Edison, NJ. This was followed by an outdoor meeting at the park.

On July 16, 2016 a group of Chinese Associations held a joint annual BBQ & Outdoor picnic at Donaldson Park, Highland Park, NJ.

On August 16, 2014 a group of Chinese Associations held a joint annual BBQ & Outdoor picnic at Sunrise Lake Picnic Area, Lewis Morris Park, Morristown, NJ.

The first NACEA social gathering, a picnic that was held at Duke Island Park in Bridgewater, NJ, certainly seemed to attract its share of bad omens. Not only did we find out too late that several other Chinese organizations were holding their own gatherings on the same day, but tropical storm Danny inundated the area with strong winds and rains before the actual picnic.
